Coastal dining at Coffs Harbour

Christmas may not be over just yet, but we’re preparing for a fabulous season on board the Great Southern to bring in the new year.

After the Christmas tree is back into storage and the Christmas feast has fed the entire family, we are celebrating the opportunity to kick back, relax, and celebrate another orbit around the sun with Great Southern departures all through January.

After crossing from Queensland into northern New South Wales, enjoy a unique dining experience on the beach at the sublime coastal town of Coffs Harbour. On arrival at Coffs Harbour Station in the early evening, you’ll be met by coaches to transport you to your dinner location just a short drive away.

Sitting in a unique position where the Great Dividing Range meets the coast, Coffs Harbour is surrounded by spectacular scenery. As the sun dips beneath the horizon, and the evening bubbles are truly underway, enjoy a unique beachside dinner where you’ll feast on local produce and fresh seafood matched with fine wines. This is the true meaning of of our Great Southern journeys – camaraderie and a shared celebration.

After a night being awed by spectacular scenery and fine dining, start the year as you mean to go on – with an adventure. Board the Great Southern in January and kick off 2024 in style. It’s all about a new year, new experiences, and a new you.
