Travelling south you’ll stop to visit a camel farm where there is time for a short camel ride (own expense). Later stop to view majestic Atila (Mt. Conner), before arriving at Ayers Rock Resort.
This afternoon join your Driver Guide for a tour around the base of Uluṟu. Continue to the Kuniya Walk, where you’ll be escorted to the Mutitjulu Waterhole. View ancient rock art and learn about the Aboriginal and European history of the area. Visit the Uluṟu – Kata Tjuṯa Cultural Centre. Late afternoon witness the striking colour changes of Uluṟu at sunset while enjoying nibbles and sparkling wine.
Watch the sunrise set Uluṟu alight, while enjoying a warming cup of tea or coffee. Then travel to the domes of Kata Tjuṯa (the Olgas). On the way enjoy panoramic views on the south side of Kata Tjuṯa before arriving at the base of Walpa Gorge. Spend time exploring the gorge and the unusual conglomerate rock formations.
