Gold Premium delivers an enhanced journey experience. Accommodated in our newly designed, contemporary cabins, you’ll have exclusive access to the Gold Premium Lounge and Gold Premium Dining for meals and socialising.

While travelling Gold Premium, expect extra inclusions for a seamless journey from start to finish. On arrival, and before you board the train, enjoy priority check-in, an increased checked luggage allowance of 75kg, as well as complimentary sparkling wine and tea or coffee. When its time to step onto the train, you’ll be greeted with a cocktail-style welcome drink, made from fresh ingredients that are sourced from the places we travel through.

The amenities in your cabin have been selected with care. Each Gold Premium cabin features LaGaia toiletries, a scientifically formulated skin care range, founded in luxury and which also features in destination resorts and high-end urban spas.

Throughout the journey, each meal is chef prepared and highlights the flavours of the region you’re passing through. Enjoy delicious breakfasts, two-course, regionally inspired lunches and an additional course at dinner which means you’ll savour a four-course menu each night accompanied by a selection of premium beverages and Australian wines. When you’re ready to retire for the evening, wind down with a nightcap to help send you off to sleep.

Choose between a Gold Premium Twin cabin or Gold Premium Suite. The Gold Premium Twin has a three-seater lounge that converts into lower and upper berths at night. The Gold Premium Suite has a little more space with a three-quarter-size double bed plus a fold-down upper berth, a lounge area, and some added extras. Both cabins have an updated interior with walnut timber and leather detailing and are designed to cocoon you in comfort while you admire the colours and contours of the passing landscape.
