Located 15 metres below the surface, these caves sit within 1,499 hectares of limestone landscape, providing an unforgettable experience for all visitors.

On this 60-minute adventure, marvel at stunning stalactites and stalagmites shaped over millennia, creating a breathtaking underground world. The caves are also home to diverse wildlife, including rare bats and birds, with the occasional brown tree snake resting on a cave ledge, highlighting the unique biodiversity of this environment.

On the return journey to the Ghan, enjoy a short stop at the Katherine Outback Experience. Here, skilled trainers showcase live performances, often from horseback, offering a lively glimpse into life on a working cattle station. Lift gently above Nitmiluk Gorge as ancient sandstone escarpments stretch to the horizon. Over 20 minutes, the vastness of Nitmiluk National Park unfolds as you fly across all 13 gorges. Waterfalls spill into quiet rockpools, pockets of greenery emerge from warm ochre terrain, and the immense scale of Country is best appreciated from above.

Landing within the gorge, step into a secluded pocket overlooking the crystal-clear, slow-moving water, a natural oasis framed by towering rock walls. In this tranquil setting, the landscape inspires reflection and appreciation of its timeless presence.
